Read Across Jamaica Day

Read Across Jamaica Day is an annual event observed across the country and is aimed at encouraging children to develop the habit of reading.

Lynford Reece, Senior Manager, Distribution and Marketing, JN General Insurance (JNGI), presents a gift to Jacob Deslandes, a student of Edward Seaga Primary School in Kingston.  Jacob was one of several children who participated in a tour of Liberty Hall and the Marcus Garvey Museum on May 5.  The event was organised by the JN Foundation in collaboration with JN Group member companies: JN Fund Managers, MC Systems, JNGI, Jamaica Automobile Association, JN Life Insurance, MCS Group and JN Money Services, along with National Baking Company and LMH Publishing.  The event served as a precursor to Read Across Jamaica Day, which was observed on May 9.
